دربارۀ پیشین‌شدگی واکۀ ū در لری و گویش‌های مرکزی ایران

چکیده

در گونه‌های مختلف گویش لری، پیشین‌شدگی واکۀ ū و تبدیل آن به ī دیده می‌شود. مشابه همین دگرگونی در گویش‌های مرکزی ایران نیز وجود دارد که پیشین‌شدگی ū در بیشتر گونه‌ها به ü و در تعدادی به ī انجام گرفته است. چگونگی توزیع این واکۀ پیشین‌شده، خاستگاه و ارزش واجی آن به­ویژه در گویش‌های مرکزی همیشه موضوع بحث پژوهش­گران بوده است. در این مقاله، با رویکردی تاریخی به این پدیده در مهم­ترین گویش‌های لری مانند بختیاری، بویراحمدی و خرم‌آبادی و تعدادی از گویش‌های مرکزی مانند گزی، میمه‌ای و جرقویه‌ای پرداخته شده است و با بررسی برابر فارسی میانه و ایرانی باستان، واژه‌هایی که پیشین‌شدگی در آن­ها انجام شده است، این فرایند در چارچوب دگرگونی­های آوایی تاریخی این گویش‌ها بررسی شده است. نتایج این بررسی نشان می‌دهد پیشین‌شدگی تنها در واژه‌هایی انجام گرفته است که واکۀ پیشین‌شده بازمانده از واکۀ ū در دورۀ میانه و باستان زبان­های ایرانی است، در حالی که در واژه‌هایی که ū بازمانده از واکۀ ō دورۀ میانه است، این پیشین‌شدگی دیده نمی‌شود؛ از سوی دیگر، می‌توان گفت این دگرگونی در دو مرحله انجام گرفته است، نخست پیشین­شدن ū به ü که در گویش‌های مرکزی انجام گرفته است، سپس گسترده­شدن ü به ī که در گویش‌های لری دیده می‌شود.

چکیده [English]

In most varieties of Lori Dialects original ū is generally fronted to ī in some words which is seen with ū in Persian. A similar change is found in Central Iranian Dialects where original ū has been fronted to ü or ī. There are some issues about the origin of the fronted vowel, its distribution in sound system of the Iranian dialects, and its phonemic value especially in Central dialects. In this paper by a diachronic approach and etymological analysis of the words that have the fronted vowel, it will be shown that the fronting can be viewed as a sound change in historical development of the dialects. The results show that fronting of ū has been occurred where ū or ī are originally from Middle Iranian and Old Iranian ū, while it is not found in words that have an ū from Middle Iranian ō which itself is derived from Old Iranian au.
